Outreach
The Library provides different types of outreach services in our community. These include:
- Homebound and Senior Services
- Special Delivery for New Parents
- Community Outreach
Homebound and Senior Services
Outreach is designed to provide service for patrons of any age who are unable to get to the library due to a disability or illness. Items that we offer include those of interest to our visually or hearing-impaired patrons such as:
- Audio Books on CD
- Music CDs
- DVDs
- Large Print Books
Who is Eligible?
Saratoga Springs City School District residents of any age who are unable to use the library independently are invited to apply for our Outreach Program. This service is free of charge to residents of senior and assisted living facilities, and to residents with either a temporary or permanent disability.
Some of our service areas include:
- Senior Apartments
- Assisted Living Locations
- Nursing Homes

Special Delivery
This “special delivery,” is designed for families that live in the Saratoga Springs City School District that have children who are up to 12 months of age. If you are interested in this service, we are happy to bring materials for you and any other children you have as well.
Each monthly delivery will include:
- a selection of items based on your family’s indicated interests and ages
- any specific titles or topics you’ve requested
- library program schedules and announcements
- early literacy tips, songs, or games
