Organizational Meeting of the Board of Trustees
Monday, July 11, 2022

PRESENT:
Frank Brady, Katie Capelli, Heather Crocker, Carol Daggs, Terence Diggory, Jean Fei, Issac (Ike) Pulver, Eric Blackman, Catherine Brenner, Jennifer Ferriss, Don Flinton, Nancy Luther, Jennifer Ogrodowski, Ric Taras, Denise Feltes

ABSENT:
Kelly McCombs

Meeting Called to Order at 5:03 PM

I. Oath of Office for Jean Fei and Nancy Luther executed prior to the organizational meeting to fulfill the notarization requirement.

II. Election of Officers – Action Required

1. President – Frank nominated Katie Capelli to be President of the Board, seconded by Heather. All in favor. Motion approved.
2. Vice President – Frank nominated Heather Crocker to be Vice President of the Board, seconded by Terry. All in favor. Motion approved.
3. Secretary – Frank nominated Terry Diggory to be Secretary of the Board, seconded by Katie. All in favor. Motion approved.

III. Annual Trustee Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Policy Attestation and Statement – Everyone must read the statement, sign and date it, and return it to Ike.

III. Meeting and Holiday Schedule for FY 2022-23 and CY 2023 – Discussion regarding date conflicts for the FY 2022-2023 calendar. Frank made a motion to approve the FY 2022-2023 Calendar with the following changes: the regular April board meeting would move to Monday, April 17, 2023 at 5:00pm followed by the budget hearing at 7:00pm; the budget vote to Thursday, April 20, 2023; and the library will be closed on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Terry seconded. All in favor. Calendar is approved with those changes.
