About the Saratoga History Room
The Saratoga Room houses the Library’s extensive Local History Collection. Books, photographs, postcards, audio-visual materials, maps, pamphlets, clippings, personal and organizational papers, etc…are available for researchers exploring the story of Saratoga Springs’ colorful and unique history.

Where to Find this Location
The Saratoga Room, also known as the Local History Room, houses archives and information specific to the local area. This room is located on the parking lot (Putnam Street) side of the building near the main stairwell. After entering the second floor from the main stairs or elevator, turn left and head straight to the first doorway that faces you. The Saratoga Room’s open hours differ from that of the library building.
